John Diakoulas founded Acropolis Construction Co. in 1974 and has been at the helm ever since. John’s vision, tenacity, and team-oriented leadership style have allowed Acropolis to grow into the widely recognized and respected industry leader it is today. John works closely with each of his clients as if they were his partners, and knows that Acropolis’ success is a function of its core values; the ability to retain trustworthy and proficient professionals and a loyal client base that often negotiates Acropolis’ repeat business. John continues to pursue his vision with Acropolis, earning the distinctive “Businessman of the Year” award from the Business Advisory Council from 2004 thru 2006, for his efforts.
Devin J. Diakoulas
President
Devin Diakoulas has been a key part of the Acropolis team over 20 years. With a double major in Finance and Economics from Towson University, Devin acts as the company liaison, and plays an important role reviewing all estimates and proposals before submission. As President, Devin is responsible for managing the overall financial health of the company, estimating, project management, pre-construction feasibility studies, business plans and pro-formas, and company strategy.
Brendan J. Diakoulas
Project Manager
For over a decade, Brendan has refined his construction skills by specializing in the arena of Project Management and has implemented our corporate sophistication to construction and service projects. Not only has he gained invaluable wisdom and knowledge by working in the family business on a multitude of projects, but he is also a graduate of Towson University where he earned a degree of Bachelor of Science with concentrations of Business Administration - Management and Marketing. His attention to detail, coupled with his organized systems and procedures, ensures that each of his clients' projects meet and/or exceed their vision and goals. His team has proven, time and time again, what it means to be large enough to serve and small enough to care. What's more, while he works with a sense of urgency, he takes pride in each and every challenging project to ensure top-notch quality and thrives on customer satisfaction. Through his creative, Design/Build mentality he constantly seeks perfection and acts as if each project were his own.
Theresa A. Hall
Office Manager/Administrative Assistant
Theresa Hall has been a part of the Acropolis team for over ten years and continues to expand her responsibilities as the office manager, administrative assistant and project manager’s assistant. Theresa plays an important role working closely with the estimators and project managers to streamline and expedite what are often complex processes. Theresa is responsible for a variety of essential functions at Acropolis, and her hard work helps to ensure that each project is a smooth and organized process.
